Moms can now stay at home and make money thanks to nicole!

I'm so delighted to have met Nicole in Chicks with Cheques. She shares a wealth of knowledge with our community, especially helping moms make money from home without leaving their little ones. Having this conversation with her was so dope.

1. Who are you? What do you do and How long have you been in business?

I am a business owner who specializes in empowering my community to step outside of their comfort zone to achieve their goals and dreams.  I have been in business since Dec. 2017 , in the virtual business world but I have been a business owner since 2009.

2. How did you end up there?

In 2009, I became a first time homeowner and I took to social media to start teaching others how survive the process of buying a home.  In doing so, I realized that people needed to learn how to budget.  I was providing a lot of resources for free and a friend tapped me on the shoulder and told me to stop! No sooner than I put a price tag on my services, people stoped engaging.  So, I invested in a business coach to get going in the right direction.  

I launched a virtual call center to help women/moms create a stream of income from home instead of going out to get a part-time job.  I eventually chose to work in the medical industry because it is a growing field and the earning potential is great enough to help me replace my full-time job...planning for July 2020.

3. Tell us about a challenge you have had in business and how you have overcome it?

A challange I have had in business is 1.  finding an industry that was profitable and 2. forming healthy business relationships.

4. What do you believe is an important factor in success for entrepreneurs?even if it's something you are struggling with.

An important factor in success is being consistant and not allowing fear to stop us from striving for and reaching our goals.

5. How do you contribute to women's empowerment?

I contribute to women's empowerment by first relating to the many issues they are facing: loneliness, abandonment, betrayal, and more.  I let them know that they are not alone and they can overcome and THRIVE.  I outline steps to gain financial freedom and I show them that not only can they dream big, they can also achieve big!!  I am a recent nominee in the #ACHIMagazine awards as both a Woman of Influence & Mentor of the Year.
